Overview

Wheneri is designed with privacy in mind. The app stores your personal app data locally on your device.

Wheneri uses limited third-party analytics, attribution, and purchase management services to understand app performance, improve the user experience, manage purchases, and measure app installs and marketing effectiveness.

Data You Create in the App

Entries, notes, history, settings, and other content you create in Wheneri are stored locally on your device. Wheneri does not upload this content to Wheneri servers or third-party analytics services.

Data Collection

Wheneri does not collect personal information such as:

– Name or contact details
– Precise location data
– The content you create inside the app

Wheneri may collect limited analytics data related to app usage, such as app opens, screen views, button interactions, feature usage, approximate location, device information, device or app identifiers, and diagnostic events.

Wheneri does not collect or analyze the content of your entries, notes, history, or other personal app content.

Purchases and RevenueCat

Wheneri offers optional Pro features through in-app purchases, including monthly and yearly subscriptions and a lifetime purchase.

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Wheneri does not collect or store your payment card details.

Wheneri uses RevenueCat to manage purchase status, subscriptions, entitlements, renewals, cancellations, and restore purchases. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information such as product identifiers, transaction identifiers, subscription status, app user identifiers, device information, and diagnostic data needed to provide and maintain purchase functionality.

This information is used only to provide Pro access, manage purchases, restore purchases, and support purchase-related issues.

Analytics and Advertising

Wheneri uses Firebase Analytics and Mixpanel to better understand app usage, improve the user experience, measure app performance, and analyze feature usage.

Analytics data is collected in an anonymous or pseudonymous form and may include events such as app opens, screen views, button taps, feature usage, approximate location, device information, app identifiers, and app diagnostics.

Wheneri does not use analytics services to collect the content of your entries, notes, history, or other personal app data.

On iOS devices, if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, Firebase may use the device advertising identifier (IDFA) for attribution and advertising measurement purposes.

If ATT permission is denied on iOS, IDFA is not accessed.

Data Storage

All content created within the app is stored locally on your device. Wheneri does not use its own cloud storage or external servers to store your app content.

Data Transfer and Backup

Data may be transferred between devices using system-level backup mechanisms provided by the operating system, such as iCloud or Android backup.

Wheneri does not directly transfer or sync your app content between devices.

Data Deletion

Wheneri does not create user accounts or store personal app content on Wheneri servers. Most app data, including entries, notes, history, and settings, is stored locally on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.

Anonymous or pseudonymous analytics data collected by third-party services such as Firebase Analytics and Mixpanel cannot generally be associated with an individual user by Wheneri.

Third-Party Services

Wheneri uses third-party services including:

– RevenueCat for purchase and subscription management
– Firebase Analytics for analytics and advertising attribution
– Mixpanel for anonymous product analytics and UX improvements

These services may process limited technical, purchase-related, and usage-related data necessary to provide their functionality. Wheneri does not share the content of your entries, notes, history, or other personal app content with these services.

Children’s Privacy

Wheneri does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated in the future. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
